Easy Jazz Conception for Tenor sax is a great book for the saxophone player wanting to get into jazz. Although the book starts out basic and is appropriate for a saxophone player who has been playing for only a year or two, it includes some challenging pieces. All of the songs in the book have been fun to play and the CD is excellent, allowing you to play along with another saxophonist or play only with the band as backup. Highly recommend.
